With the rollout of the Competency-Based Curriculum in Kenya, students now have clearer and more flexible pathways to pursue their career goals.

Thomas who aspires to become a neurosurgeon, was excited to join MP Shah Chania Boys High School for his senior secondary education after performing exceptionally well in junior school. Under the CBC structure, he will be able to specialize in the STEM pathway, which aligns closely with his dream career in medicine.

This transition marks an important step in his academic journey, as senior secondary school will equip him with the necessary knowledge, practical skills, and competencies required for future studies in fields like neurosurgery.
